Melissa is many things, including wife, mother (to 4 children and a retriever puppy), an elementary school teacher, cookie baker, swim teacher, homeschooler (for a few years), mostly distracted and always striving for health, fitness and home organization. She wears her heart on her sleeve and has no poker face. She will make a quilt every once in awhile for her family or as a gift. She loves trees, well thought out landscaping, and all things gardening. She loves visiting with friends while sitting in the shade near a creek and sleeping in whenever she can…but secretly wishes she was a morning person, or a night person, but knows she is neither. Her fabulous pantry is prepared and ready to “shop” for meals for her family. And, finally, her children and husband all know the secret to making her happy:
