Dave Bell has been interested in emergency preparedness since, as a boy, he lived through hurricane Agnes, one of the worst hurricanes to hit the East Coast in the early 70s. He has taught emergency preparedness fundamentals to scouts in the five times he served as Scoutmaster. More recently he lived through “polar vortex” in March 2021 in Northern Texas. He also supported many efforts to “muck” houses in damaged areas along the Texas coast in response to multiple hurricanes. Dave serves as Emergency Preparedness Specialist for the Hardman Farms Ward. He was also recently called to the stake High Council of the Cold Spring Ranch Stake. He and his wife are proud of their five grown children.
